Retro Productions is proud to participate in
the New York Innovative Theatre Awards.

The Innovative Theatre Foundation recognizes the great work of
New York's Off-Off-Broadway — honoring its artistic heritage and
providing a meeting ground for this extensive and richly varied
community. As advocates for Off-Off-Broadway, they recognize its
unique and essential role in global culture.

Each season, The Innovative Theatre Foundation publicly
recognizes excellence in Off-Off-Broadway, with a high-profile
awards ceremony. The New York Innovative Theatre Awards
celebrate the community and honor some of the year’s greatest
achievements. The IT Awards heighten audience awareness and
foster greater appreciation of the New York theatre experience. To

Nominations are based on scores provided by adjudicators and audiences alike.  The audience portion makes up 25% of the overall score.  It is extremely important that our audiences vote for us in order for us to receive nominations.  When Retro Productions receives nominations, our name is spread via the foundation as a company whose work is top notch.  The foundation has a mailing list of over 16,000 people and growing!  That can translate in to future ticket sales which translates in to Retro becoming a more solvent company.  Nominations also look good on grant applications, as granters are more likely to support programs that have already proven to be of quality.  So please, if you enjoy a Retro Productions, vote for us!
